Today was a lovely, relaxed Sunday. We went to the vegetable and fruit market this morning in Zurich to buy some fruit to take to a Sunday brunch. I was excited to find some fresh dates. The last time I had some was in Feb. 2018, when I found some in a market somewhere in Germany (don’t remember where).
The time passed quickly with some friends, many of who work with the UN or similar organizations. It was fun how the conversation moved seamlessly with a blend of French and English. My French is rusty and not that good but I could follow a lot of the conversation happening in that language.
In the afternoon, this was my view out the 4th floor apartment window while I enjoyed a chocolate chip financier and a cup of jasmine green tea.
C and I recorded an episode for my upcoming podcast Changes Big and Small, which will be released in about 2 weeks, and then it was time for dinner. We had a lovely Indian dinner, shrimp curry for me, and lamb for her.
