Plagiarism is made up of many components from copying to misrepresentation. In this module, we’re going to focus on plagiarism that is usually unintentional, but is rather the result of poor paraphrasing skills. You're going to practice paraphrasing so that you can develop skills to do so without plagiarizing.
"When we paraphrase, we maintain the original meaning, but we say it in our own words" (John Sedita, 2001).
