Although I’d never planned on going to mainland China, I was recently on my fourth trip there. I spent one day in Beijing in January (having planned the stopover before I knew I’d be going there on a school trip). I was in Beijing from March 9 – 14th, 2011 as a chaperone for a student MUN trip. I got to visit famous sites such as the Great Wall (at Badaling), the Summer Palace, the Forbidden City and the Pearl Market.
